Week 1 Update:  Greta is a great mother and is taking care of her puppies.  They are all nursing great and gaining weight.   Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) started at 3 days old.  They all seem to be doing well with ENS and have been very calm.  Eyes are still closed.  Hopefully they will be open for pictures next week.   Puppies are still scooting around and have not tried standing.  Next week I will contact each person on the list to find out which puppy you choose.

Week 2 Update:  Puppies are doing well and all are all gaining weight daily.  They all have their eyes open now.  I tried to get pictures with their eyes open but I was not able to on a few of them.  They tend to move around a lot when their eyes are open so I ended up taking a few photos with their eyes closed.  All of the puppies and adults received their first dose of Pyrantel.  Not fun but they all did take their dose.  This week begins the picking process.  When it if your turn, I will contact you and left you know it is your turn to choose a puppy.  This morning there was an escapee out of the birthing pool.  Tomorrow they will transition to the  large whelping box with the artificial turf.  This is the beginning of the potty training process.

Week 3 Update:  The puppies transitioned to the large whelping box this week.  They are doing well adjusting to the artificial turf.  They have been doing well getting up and peeing and pooping  on the turf.   They are walking much better this week.  Also they are starting to interact with each other which is always fun to see.  They all got their nails trimmed at the beginning of the week and did pretty well.  I was able to get pictures of every puppy with their eyes open this week!

Week 4 Update: This week the puppies have moved to the heated garage.  They are in the large whelping box with some fencing around it for a little extra room.  The puppies have really started to show their personalities this week.  They have been very playful with each other and crawl all over me when I sit in the whelping box with them to socialize.  It is the best time of the day for me!  All the puppies got a bath this week.  They did extremely well with the bath and the blow dryer.  Potty training is coming along.  Their puppy teeth are starting to come in. They are still nursing but they are starting to eat puppy kibble.  Today they received their second dose of Pyrantel dewormer.  Also, don't forget to order your Nu Vet supplements for your puppy.  Website address is: https://www.nuvetlabs.com/order_new2/products.asp and the code is 118818.

Week 5 Update:  This week the puppies have transitioned to the kennel.  The have not used the potty door yet because of the weather being so cold.  Hopefully this weekend we can start to work on using the potty door to start the transition of going outside to use the bathroom.  Today was a spa day!  They all got a bath, nails trimmed and paws trimmed.  They did extremely well. This is the best a litter of puppies have done getting their nails trimmed.  Only a couple times pulling back while trimming but for the most part, they just sat there and let me trim them.  Puppies are mostly eating solids now.  Greta only goes in to feed them about 2-3 times per day now.   They are so playful at this stage.  Feel free to contact me if you would like to stop over to visit and socialize with the puppies.

Week 6 Update:  The puppies have been doing very well with potty training.   They still go potty on the artificial turf sometimes but they have been going outside too.  They go outside all the time to poop.  No more cleaning poop out of the turf!  These puppies are the first to learn to go poop outside at just over 5 weeks.  Hopefully they pick up on going outside to pee all the time this week too.  They are all growing and the colors are really starting to change on the phantom and agouti puppies.  Today we started their 3 day course of the dewormer Fenbendazole.  Don't forget to order your Nu Vet Supplements if you have not done so yet.  Also you can contact me to set up a pick up time.  I usually block about an hour for each pick up.  It won't be long now!  Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about the supplies needed before you pick up your puppy.

Week 7 Update:  The puppies had their 7 week vet appointment today.  They all got a clean bill of health and are doing great.  Also, they all received their first set of puppy vaccines today.  Potty training is going well. The artificial turf has been removed from the kennel and they are going outside to go to the bathroom.  There was only one night that they had two  accidents inside.  Other than that they are all going outside.  Temperament testing will be done tomorrow.  Just a quick reminder to make sure you ordered your Nu Vet supplements before pick up day.   The puppy food I use is Nutrisource large breed puppy.  I will send some home to get you started.

Week 8 Update:  The puppies are going to their new homes this week.  There are still two adorable male Chocolate Merle puppies available, Thunder and Lightning.  They are both very sweet and  are doing great with potty training.  They are consistently going outside to go to the bathroom.  Please contact me if you would like to set up a time to visit either one.

Week 9 Update:  There is one puppy left from the current litter, Lightning.  Thunder and Sunshine will be going to their new homes this week.  All puppies have been doing great with potty training. No accidents this week.  Today we started another three day course of the dewormer, Fenbendazole. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to set up a time to meet Lightning.
