Welcome to Schmidt Doodles!
My name is Jeannie Schmidt and I started this family adventure of breeding doodles with our first female, Emma. After a successful first litter, I knew this was to become more than just a hobby, and with the help and guidance of established and reputable doodle breeder Dannette Hermier, we wanted to keep the adventure going. Dogs are my passion and they have been irreplaceable members of our family, and I treat every puppy we breed like one of my own children.
Our Story
After I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 2001, I was struggling to find something to take my mind off the diagnosis. After our last dog died, we knew we wanted to add another four-legged member to our family. I was introduced to the Golden doodle breed and thus we received our first breeding female, Emma. With such a great personality, I knew she would breed great therapy and family pets. We were extremely blessed to have a wonderful first litter of puppies, and people were begging us to have more. We kept a Parti female from the first litter and named her Lucy and she will be continuing our line of future double doodles.
We have just moved to a new and bigger house in July of 2019 with four and a half acres of rolling grassland for all of our doodles to run around and enjoy. It is both close to town as well as giving us the country feel, thus the best of both worlds. I currently work from home so I am constantly able to monitor and care for each upcoming litter 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. This has been the best experience for our family and we aim to please every future and past client with the best doodle they could ever possible want!

We added Yoshi (dash) to our family and he's such a great puppy that we had no choice but to add another! Yoshi is so unbelievably smart, beautiful and is the biggest sweetheart around. He loves giving Whoever is around unlimited kisses & snuggles, & was potty trained in just a few short weeks. These puppies are hands down life changing animals and with that being said, We cannot wait to add our new hunny to our family let alone a sister for Yoshi! Jeannie does such an incredible job getting these puppy's ready for their forever homes and I love that they put them through ens training, that makes them extra loving and more understanding when it comes down to things, that personally has helped me with anxiety, depression ect. We honestly couldn't be more grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Schmidt Doodles for our babies! I highly recommend working with Jeannie, she is great and you won't be disappointed!

Schmidt Double Doodles produce such quality, smart & adorable Doodles. I adopted Oreo in March 2019 after seeing him on this page. We have been so blessed to have found Jeannie and adopt one of her mini goldendoodles. Popcorn (akaPoppy) has become the fifth member of our family and is everything we dreamed. Her temperament is amazing: the kids carry her around, dress her up and spoil her. She loves every person and every animal she meets. She rarely ever barks and due to her sound desensitization she is never afraid of noises. And everyone stops us to remark on her beautiful Merle coloring.
